Why You Should Use Press Releases
Press Releases are great to use to get new visitors to your web site and really boost and add more web site traffic. Most are FREE and those are the ones I'd recommend. Not only does a Press Release tell people about new information with your online company or business but it also adds a back link to your web site and by now you know how important it is to be found by the search engines.
Press release Web Sites such as http://www.prlog.org/ are found to be highly relevant by the search engines like Google. Back links from these web sites get your site a little more notice and the afore mentioned PR Web Site is absolutely free! Free hits and free visitors for your web site, would you complain about that?
A press release can update someone with new information about your products or a changing market almost over night, again as Google and other search engines see Press Release sites as highly relevant tools they also get ranked well in the search engines. Recently I was experimenting getting some terms into the top 10 on Google with very little work. While I can't disclose what the terms were some of them had a lot of competition. In fact 2 of the words had over 100,000 competing websites! In a matter of a few days my Press Release cracked the top 10 of Google (the most important search engine on the planet). Nearly 75% of the search terms I tried to get my Press Releases ranked for worked and rounded my up thousands of visitors in a short time.
Here are a few tips for really increasing your website traffic with press Releases.
Know Your Key Words
Your goal should be to get ranked high in the search engines with any press release you submit. So make sure the title of your press release is the Group of Primary Keywords you want to rank for. Then make sure that you include those key words in your press release at least 3 -4 times but don't over do it just keep it realistic and make you press release sound as good as possible. Never key word stuff phrases into your press release just for the sake of a better ranking as it sounds ignorant and is more than likely to back fire.
Include a Picture If Possible
If possible include a picture in your press release and a title for your picture or alt tag if the press release web site allows it. People are visual if someone were to read your press release give them something interesting to look at. A picture of yourself is sometimes a very good tool to post with your press release as it is more likely to personalize it.
Never Pay For a Press Release
I say get your links from press releases free if possible. Unless you are trying to get on 60 minutes skip forking over $20-$30 for a single press release. rather submit a press release to 5 different PR web sites as it will probably pay off more and increase web site traffic to you even more.

Auction Ads Will Bring You Extra Traffic & Money
Auction Ads Case Study

Every day as affiliate marketers we look, check and note how much we are making. The one thing I've noticed as of late is that when I check my Adsense revenue its way down. Recently however a new website sprung up to help all of us in the business. Auction Ads; which allows you to place ads on your website in the vein of Adsense, has arrived. Though similar in the size and shape of the ad banners the similarities end soon after. Auction Ads has also made me a lot more money than adsense and that excites me. I'm going to take you through a small easy to read case study experiment that I did for 2 months that will astound you even if you've been in affiliate marketing and internet site building for years. This study will show you the difference in not only income but how Auction Ads Differs from Adsense and why it makes more money.
Adsense used to perform well for me but since they've dropped the bomb on everyone and added content bidding its gone way down hill. Don't get me wrong it’s still possible to make good money with adsense but if you combine it with auction ads it’s going to bring you more than you could imagine. First before I break into the study results let me say this, the main difference between auction ads and adsense is that auction ads pay per action or per sale and adsense pays per click. Are you nervous yet? Don't be. In the 2 months with Auction Ads I made 10 times more money than I did with Adsense. Auction Ads connects people who click on you links with auctions on eBay. Auction Ads has a huge secret that I’ll get to later on in this case study that allows it to make much more than Adsense and you are going to love it. I will also note that to do this experiment I used a brand new site that featured both ads in relevantly similar positions or even simply rotated each ad in and out in some cases alternating.
How I began the experiment was by designing a website that featured content and that featured products. On each page I put auction ads banners and adsense banners near each other or as mentioned above rotated them alternately. I made sure that where ever I featured auction ads I featured adsense and so on. The idea was that at the end of my experiment I wanted to be sure of what is going to be more profitable for me. That’s what we are all in business for; to make the most money we can in the most efficient way. I wanted to keep the website small so I kept it under 2 pages for this and harvested links through PPC (pay per click) and through free classified ads as well as search engine marketing.
Now for the good stuff that you're all waiting to read - the numbers. In the first month adsense made the following income $43.61 on 292 clicks. While auction ads pulled 2589 for a total of $324.96 for this case study. Now you may wonder why auction ads click count is so high compared to adsense. There are actually a couple reasons. First auction ads offer a 30 day cookie tracking so any actions taken by the affiliate on your site that continues to surf eBay gets tracked. Secondly when someone clicks on your adsense links and they go away from your site, they are gone and do not get tracked at all. So anything that person buys off of a click through adsense is gone and you are stuck with your 5-15 cents for the click. Let’s talk money now. As you can see auction ads in the first month made me $281.35 more than adsense. Not a lot until you keep in mind this is a brand new site with very little traffic. You can only begin to imagine what it will do in a year or what 10 similar websites will do in a year. So how was auction ads pulling that much more money? There’s a nice little secret that isn't getting a lot of publicity yet about auction ads. Ok I’m going to tell you know the huge difference between Auction Ads and Adsense. See auction ads uses eBay’s affiliate structure and this is where you can pull some good cash. Anytime someone buys anything off eBay through you're links you earn 6.5% of the commission on the final value fee or (FVF). The real beauty is what happens next. EBay’s affiliate program has a nice little feature called ACRU? So what is an ACRU you are probably asking? An ACRU is simply a user who signs up for an eBay account and makes a purchase through your affiliate link. Now that you're wondering why this is even important it’s because for every ACRU that comes to eBay you not only make 6.5% commission on the (FVF) but you also make a $25 bonus for each one. Let me repeat that, $25 each! So if someone comes through your link anytime within 30 days and signs up with eBay and makes any (REPEAT ANY) purchase you are awarded a $25 bonus. Even if someone comes to eBay through your link and makes a $1 purchase you make the $25 bonus plus commission. Now do you see what adense is missing? Could you imagine what could happen if you had thousands of people buying through your Auction Ads links?
Now let’s move to month #2. Adsense would catch up right? Wrong it gets worse for adsense. Adsense pulled a nice $69.80 profit. Not bad for a second month with few visitors until we take a look at auction ads. Auction Ads pulled a sweet $1000.14 pay check. Adsense doesn't even compete and again I simply took advantage of the $25 ACRU fees I got from auction ads. Now I'm not brilliant but if you showed me $1000 or $69 I'm taking the $1000 any day. Take advantage of Auction Ads on this fact and utilize it to gain more income for yourself.
Listen, adsense has simply dropped down in stature and it’s time for something new, something that is going to make us some money. I'm not saying to dump adsense but what I am saying is use it in conjunction with auction ads and make even more money. If you are already enjoying a nice income from Adsense get Auction Ads and add extra income to your pockets. I have continued to test this method further and the results continue to be the same and Auction Ads is the king. The good news is the results for a content site have been the same as product sites. Today you really need to do 2 things. Picture this as you've seen above. I made $1000 in my second month on just 1 website with auction ads off of 2 web pages. Could you imagine doing this on 5 or 10 websites that have 10-20 pages each? That’s $5,000-$10,000 extra dollars per month or more and I don't know anyone who'd say no to that.
Update: Nearing the end of writing the case study and Auction Ads report, my traffic has increased 10 fold! Guess where my profits headed? That’s right 10 fold. Auction Ads works and my Auction Ads technique secrets work as well. It’s only getting bigger from here.
At the time of writing this In 7 Days Auction Ads pulled in over $700 extra. Thats Over $100 a day in just auction ads with low traffic not to mention what adsense and my affiliate programs on my 2 pages brought me.
The good news is your traffic will increase because the changing ads bring people back to your website whether its a product or a content web site.

Increasing Web Site Traffic With Opt In Email Lists
The best way in my opinion overall for increasing web site traffic is to build an opt in email list. Building an opt in email list will allow you at the click of a button to speak to 1000's of people who want to know more about you or your product you are offering. Building the email list is the all important tool of any online or internet marketer and it is one of the most useful ways to round up some good traffic of people who will potentially buy from you at some point. They liked you well enough to sign up for your email newsletter in the first place right?
Increasing web site traffic with your email list is easy and these few steps will show you how to explode your website traffic once your list is built up. Don't panic building the list isn't as long and time consuming as it sounds and I'll show you the ways to make it much easier.
How To Increase Website Traffic Build That List
Step #1. First you are going to need a program that is going to be able to capture someones email when they sign up for your newsletter. Do not use hotmail or any of the free email options. First off doing it that way will be more time consuming and secondly they do not have the proper measures in place to allow you to build an effective email list.
You'll want to however sign up for Aweber communications and at $20 a month you can't go wrong. They do everything from hosting your newsletters to allow you to set up easy to use send outs through auto responders. You can custom the time that your emails send out and have an unlimited number of email lists and your lists can swell to as big as you want! So the $20 is worth it, doing this all on your own is a huge pain and its better to spend your time focusing on your business not the technically side. Also building the actually web form is all done automatically by Aweber you simply type in what you want they generate the code you copy and paste into your website :) So all the hard work is done for you.
Step#2. Now that you have the program you'll need to get you started building an email list for your website its time to come up with something to grab your readers attention that will make them sign up for your email list. My favorite technique is using a free offer when they sign up. For instance on this website I offer Free Traffic Tips to all those that sign up for my newsletter. This allows me to send out emails to everyone on my list periodically. You may offer a free report, or a free e-book - just make sure that is has value. Not only should the free offer, offer some type of value to your customer but so should your messages you send out to their email boxes after they sign up. If you try to sell them something during every email you'll never be increasing web site traffic to your web site because they'll be un subscribing to your newsletter left and right. The key is to treat your newsletter signs up the way you'd want to be treated, with respect and with value rich content.
Step#3. After you've figured out what type of value and offer to send out to your email subscribers and you've set everything up at Aweber it would be a good time to draft up an auto response newsletter for your members that begin signing up. Be informative and to the point. No one wants to read a book, they just want to know what you're going to offer them and why you are even in business. Think of it like this. What can you do for them? Because if you can't answer that question increasing web site traffic won't come through newsletters and you'll have to find another way. However It would be hard no matter what business you are in online to not come up with a way to benefit your customers. I should go ahead and mention that at Aweber they also have hundreds of templates that will let you set your newsletters up as well in a matter of seconds, all you do is plug in the content.
Step#4. Setup your opt in email newsletter to go on autopilot that will send a new message out every so often (as many days apart as you'd like). Or if you'd rather just type new messages and not have it on auto that is fine as well you just want to stay in contact with your list every week or 2. Just be sure not to over do it by sending them an email every day. Again irritating them will just leave no other option but un subscribing by hundreds of your list members.
This is probably the easiest way to get targeted traffic on a weekly basis. Recently with this technique I captured 4,000 email sign ups for my newsletter in under 7 days. Talk about a way of increasing web site traffic as every 7 days I'll send an email out to my list and have 2,000-3,000 extra web site hits in a couple of days. When your list later swells to over 10,000 people or more thats when people really start coming in. Then there is the 50,000 mark..... you See where this is going....
Now no matter where you go you have a targeted list of people stored online that you can reach at the click of a button. You'll start to see a huge increase in your web site traffic and stats and should see a nice increase in sales as well.

Using Free and Paid Classified Ads
Free and paid online ads listed on classified pages are similar to off line newspaper classified listings. They are small ads that you list in a respected category on a classifieds website. You can place these for free or pay for them. Usually you'll want to start with free listings and work your way up to using paid advertising on the home page of the site. So you title your ad you get to uploads pictures to your ad and place it in the category you'd like. Now you may be wondering if they are small ads why do they work? Well they work for a few reasons. The first reason being that when you place your classified ad you are actually given a full page that is search engine optimized. The website automatically places in your page header which is your title of the item or phrase you are listing on the classified ad and you get to add a picture with a title and you get to add all the text to the advertisement. This means that you place your keywords throughout the sales text and use your title as your Primary Keywords of your listing.
Pretty cool huh? It gets better :) Once your classified listing is published (after you push the finished button) it is then online. Within a couple days the major search engines will pick these up. I haven't tested all the search engines to see how well they pick these up but the Big 3 do well and Google weights these listings very high. This means that with very few back links for your classified listing you can get your keywords ranked in the top 10 on Google which handles 55% of all the internet traffic. Which also concludes you'll get a lot of bonus clicks for your web listing just from search engines alone! You will pick up some good clicks from just having your listing on the classifieds page as is but really optimizing it for the search engines is the key to a lot of extra traffic.
My favorite web classified website is Web Classifieds US & for a few reasons. The first being Google weights this one very high and gets you some top 10-20 listings quickly. The 2nd reason is you are able to place a small picture link on the front page of their website that rotates out randomly with other ads. To list on the front page for 3 months is only $10! I'll repeat that only $10! Typically to list on the home page of a website that generates millions of visitors per month it would cost you thousands of dollars no matter how big the ad is. the key is again make sure your advertisement is optimized with a good title and make a very detailed description in your text body. However to get people to click your link you'll want to avoid writing a book but a rather curiosity building write up that will stimulate them to visit your web site. I have placed many ads that have received 3000+ visitors in only a couple weeks. However a more realistic number to aim for from a classified ad is probably about 500-1000 in 3-4 weeks time.
Another web classified listing website I use that generates me a lot of traffic is USFreeAds again for the same reasons as web classifieds. This site also a=offers free listings and paid listings. One main reason I like this one is the paid listings. For $10 a year you can place and run up to 25 ads. For $10 a month you can place as many ads as you'd like with as many back links as you'd like. You can also includes up to 7 pictures in your ads as well as videos or animated graphics. Google loves this classified site as well and the monthly fee is nothing compared to the extra traffic this will bring your website and not to mention the free back links you'll be gaining for your primary website!
So don't over look classified listings. From under 30 listings for 1 website I grabbed up about 27,000 extra visitors that I wouldn't have other wise had and with much less work than full SEO. If anything I would recommend signing up with both classified ad website s above and just placing free classified ads to start with and then moving up to paid listing when you are used to the process. One more tip for you. The newer the item you are promoting through your web classified ad the easier and faster you'll be up in the top 10 listings. You can also back link from your website to your classified listing to bump it up in the search engine rankings. :) You won't regret doing that when the targeted website traffic starts rolling in.

Increasing Website Traffic Starter
One of the most important and often over looked aspects of either website or online market in getting traffic to your website. Without traffic flow to your page or website no body can buy what you are selling or even sign up for your list & likewise even established websites must increase website traffic in order to expand and grow and allow you the hardworking operator to profit and make a good living.
In this post we are just going to look at the basics of getting your website noticed and as we progress into further blog posts I'll start bringing out the heavier weapons of increasing website traffic. Before we even dig into SEO (search engine optimization) I want you to understand building traffic without it first otherwise it may take a very long time to get traffic. Chances are if you are looking for ways to increase website traffic you already have used and know what SEO is. If not I'll have another report up on SEO soon.
At this point your website is built now Let's Get You Some Traffic.
I would always recommend google adwords. Google adwords (PPC) or (pay per click) advertising is probably the most simply,easiest way to get traffic to your website.
The good news about traffic to your website through programs like adwords is that not only do you get to dictate what you spend on advertising its targeted. Why is it targeted? Because to find your ad someone has to type in exactly what they are looking for and you placed an ad that targets those specific keywords. In other words someone just asked you for a drink of water and you are merely handing it to them.
You'll pay for advertising this way but you'll be able to control it and keep your costs as low as you want. Again this is the best way to get targeted customers to your website. You can bid as low as 1 Cent or as high as you'd like but it will increase website traffic to your site and will potentially bring you what you are looking for, a sale. After you have begun your adwords campaign and you start increasing traffic carefully mointor it for the first couple weeks to see where you need to make changes in your advertising. What kind of changing will you make you may ask yourself? Well you'll want to make sure that the traffic you are paying for is converting. Meaning if you are paying and no one is buying you need to re word your ad. Or you may getting no clicks at all. Just keep in mind in sales its all how you word things that leads people to the sale.
How about some Free Website Traffic?
You can get it that way to just not in the targeted masses you do from PPC advertising. One way to grab yourself some free website traffic is by using article directories like ezine articles.
Writing articles can be time consuming but it will do a couple of things for you.
#1.It Builds Back links & the more links pointing to your website the more likely Google and all the other search engines like you. It will also increase website traffic in all likeliness just from people reading the articles and clicking your link to your website.
#2. It builds trust. Without trust no one will buy from you. They must trust who you are and what you do. Showing you have some type of expertise in whatever field you are writing about shows that you might know what you're doing.
Another way to increase website traffic for free is to post in free classified ads online. Try that one or this one here web classifieds.
Both of the links above are to free online classified ads. How they work are you post your classified ad at their website and they give you a full page that is also SEO optimized to display it on. The great part about this is to post a free online classified ad it takes about 5 minutes and you not only have an extra back link to your website but you've got another page bringing people to your site. So now you may ask how will this increase your website traffic beyond that? Simple google and other search engines place extra authority weight on certain web classified listings. So what does this mean? It means that all those ads you post in web classified directories get noticed fast by Google and others and place high in the search engines much faster than your website will. I have tested this many many times over and it works and works well. You'll start noticing your website traffic increasing within a few days.
There are many other ways to increase website traffic that we'll get onto in another lesson but this will get you started quickly into getting people to your website. Just remember traffic may be the single most important factor in making money online.
